Swanswater Fishery Rules

 

The following rules are made to enhance your enjoyment and ensure your safety. 
Please  assist us by keeping to these rules and ensuring that others do too.

FISHERY  RULES

  1. No fishing without a permit
     

  2. Fly fishing only.  No spinning, No bait, No boobies, No egg patterns allowed. 
    No lures to be fished under indicators at any time
     

  3. Once an angler has caught his limit, he should cease fishing or purchase a further permit.  Catch and release only available by arrangement with the management after limit is caught and weighed in.  There is no catch and release on Swanswater .
    No indicators
    to be used on catch and release.
     

  4.  Bag limits and finishing times must be adhered to strictly.   All catch returns, including nil returns, must be made in the box provided
     

  5.  No angler may assist a less successful angler in attaining their limit
     

  6.  Life-jackets will be issued to all anglers using a boat.  These must be signed for and worn at all times in the boat
     

  7.  Please check with management before moving between Swanswater and the small  ponds especially at busy times.
     

  8.  The management reserve the right to check persons, equipment and vehicles at any time

  9.  the management do no accept liability for personal accident or loss or damage to property on the premises
     

  10. Any angler in breach of the rules or behaving in a disorderly manner, may be asked to leave without a refund, refused return and reported to other ASSF fisheries
